I made a 14.5 cm square card using pale cream card. I stamped the Beautiful Lady from Creative Expressions set using Memento Rich Cocoa ink and coloured the image using Promarkers gold, maroon and cornflower and blush for the skin tone, matting it onto black card and mounting it using foam pads. The background paper is from Kate Night free papers out of Cardmaking and Papercraft.
I used a Spellbinders border die on black glossy card and threaded some maroon satin 0.5cm ribbon through it securing it on the back of the background paper before I stuck the paper to the card. This is something that I think looks better than cutting the ribbon to the width of the paper you are sticking it to and prevents the ribbon from developing frayed edges. The only snag is, I don't always remember to do it this way and it's only after I have stuck down my background paper that I remember!
The flower I created using My Craft Studio Paper Flowers pre-printed and die cut pages that came with the CD rom. Spookily the pinky colour flower matched the background paper perfectly. (Happy accident!)
Then I have stamped the word 'imagine' also from the Creative Expression Beautiful Ladies onto one of the flowers from the My Craft Studio flower die cuts.
