My first post - yay! I broke the habit of a lifetime with this card and used stamps that I had just received in the post. Usually I drool over them for a while and then they get put in my 'stash' to use at a later date. How come that later date never seems to come round?!
Anyway, a little bit of info about this card for you ...
I used an A5 scalloped card, the papers are freebies from the magazine Simply Homemade, I have inked the edges. I used stamps from Creative Expressions Beautiful Ladies and Art Nouveau Ladies. The matts were made with spellbinders labels dies, the border is also a spellbinders. The face was stamped in black and embossed with clear embossing power. The feathers were also stamped in black and embossed, then I used ink pads to colour the feathers and cut round them. To finish off I have added some gems and a sentiment also from the Creative Expressions Beautiful Ladies.
